The new Tour Wedge provides the legendary Miura feel that many golfers covet.  This wedge does not chase distance, but rather the precision and control necessary for scoring - the ideal ingredients for wedges.  It is the first from Miura to use CNC milling for the face and grooves, allowing for ultimate spin control.

The Tour Wedge is designed with a hollow back shape to create a higher centre of gravity.  The unique distribution of weight produces a stable trajectory while still allowing the player the ability to flight the shot, if necessary.  Like all clubs forged by Miura, the grain structure within the club head is the tightest in the golf industry.  This creates less dispersion on off centre hits, as well as provides control from all lies and conditions.

Loft and bounce options to suit every style
The Tour wedges are available in differing lofts and bounce angles.  They come in even-numbered lofts from 48 degrees through to 60 (although Miura will gladly custom build a specific loft for you).  The Tour wedges features redesigned bounce angles that work well with the way thinking players like to play golf.  Leading edge and bounce angle combine for a quality impact that leads to a crisp, consistent divot.


What does the symbol on the back translate to?
The visual pleasure of a fine chrome finish is topped by a new, understated Japanese character - or kanji. This translates best as "striving" or "noble effort."


Miura Forging Process
Miura's forging techniques rearrange the molecular structure of the mild steel in a pattern that is uniform throughout the club head. This eliminates void spots in the club face. This process assures that every Miura club in your bag has the distance control, ball flight, spin, and feel that any golfer should demand. This tightness in the grain structure of the metal is what gives Miura made clubs the controlled, soft feel that other manufacturers cannot achieve. Miura also uses a proprietary "spin welding" process to produce the industries' most consistent hosel. This unique procedure ensures that the bore depths and hosel heights are identical on every Miura made head and the shaft of every club will be perfectly centered.
