Through extensive scientific research L.A.B. Golf have produced something new and exciting to this most important part of the game and as you will learn, all their science is backed up with jaw dropping demonstrations.

The founder of L(ie)A(ngle)B(alanced)is Bill Presse, a former mini-tour player who had the idea to create a putter that would allow him to drastically simplify his stroke. He wanted to be able to count on a square putter face every time, which led him to invent Lie Angle Balance. Bill also wanted to create a putter head that would give him as much forgiveness as possible, so he developed the radical shape of the DF 2.1 as a way to maximise consistency on off-centre hits. Yes, it looks like a branding iron… but it works!

We know… it looks a little funny. L.A.B DF2.1 users often spend the first few holes catching flak about the way their putter looks. And as the putts keep falling, they spend the rest of the round fielding questions from their playing partners about why it works so well.

From there, your putter will be built for you with L.A.B. Golf's proprietary Lie Angle Balancing process, which ensures that your putter is Lie Angle Balanced to your stroke.

A Forward Thinking Grip
The forward-press is an often misunderstood concept among golfers, and even golfers who understand it often find it difficult to execute. Success comes from leaning the shaft forward at impact to reduce loft, while at the same time contacting the ball with an upward putter path to encourage the truest possible roll.

L.A.B. Golf putters will perform with any putter grip, and Press Grips work with any putter, but the best performance comes when they’re paired together. That’s because Press Grips are created with L.A.B. Golf's built-in Forward Press Technology. It allows golfers to keep their hands vertical at address, allowing the angle of the grip to pre-sets the ideal shaft lean. It's a 127 gram steel shaft with a stiff prfilve and optimised balance point.
ACCRA x L.A.B . ACCRA has developed a putter shaft specifically designed to enhance the technical attributes of L.A.B. Golf putters, targeting the importance of a consistent impact position utilizing the benefits of the MEZZ.1 MAX, MEZZ.1, LINK.1, DF3 & DF2.1 putter heads. The result is a 140-gram shaft with a stiffer profile utilizing high-modulus materials to maintain feel. Composite materials enable the design team to optimize the torque, balance point, and profile of the shaft to amplify the features of Lie Angle Balance putters. Only graphite materials enable dramatic manipulations of the specifications with a constant focus on feel.
TPT x L.A.B. Quite simply the best putter shaft we’ve ever tested. L.A.B. Golf by TPT Golf putter shafts are created using an automated manufacturing process that continuously winds a single strip of carbon fibre in such a way that there are no overlaps or seams in the shaft. The fiber is applied so that every fibre angle is “on-axis,” which means every fibre is working together in harmony.
